Day 1: Chengdu - Siguniang Mountain - Xiaojin
Depart from Chengdu and drive toward the mountains of Aba Prefecture.
Stop at Maobiliang (Cat Nose Bridge) Viewpoint, one of the best locations to admire panoramic views of Siguniang Mountain (Four Sisters Mountain). In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour exploration of Shuangqiao Valley (Twin Bridge Valley), famous for glaciers, alpine meadows, and snow-covered peaks.
Overnight in Xiaojin County.
Day 2: Xiaojin - Danba - Zhonglu Village - Jiaju Tibetan Village - Dangling
Drive to Danba Beauty Valley, known for its ancient Tibetan watchtowers and traditional villages. Visit Zhonglu Tibetan Village and Jiaju Tibetan Village, where colorful houses are scattered across the hillside. Continue to Dangling Village, a hidden alpine village surrounded by forests and snow mountains.
Overnight in Dangling.
Day 3: Dangling - Jia Yila Lake - Yuke Grassland - Daofu
In the morning, travel by 2-hours hiking or 40-mins motorcycle to reach Jia Yila Lake, a secret alpine lake known for its pure beauty. Continue to Yuke Grassland, a vast plateau landscape where herds of yaks graze beneath the highland sky.
Drive onward to Daofu County for the night.
Day 4: Daofu - Longdeng Ranch - Moshi Park - Tagong Grassland - Yuzixi - Xinduqiao
Visit Longdeng Ranch, an alpine ranch perfect for photography. Continue to Moshi Park, famous for its dramatic black stone formations that resemble an alien landscape. Stop at Tagong Grassland and visit Muya Monastery, an important Tibetan Buddhist site. In the evening, head to Yuzixi Viewpoint to watch the sunset over the snow mountains.

Day 5: Xinduqiao - Zimei Pass - Gongga Snow Mountain - Jiulong
Drive toward Zimei Pass, one of the best viewpoints to admire Mount Gongga, the highest peak in Sichuan Province. Enjoy spectacular views of glaciers and snow-covered peaks before continuing south toward Jiulong County. Overnight in Jiulong.
Day 6: Jiulong - Wuxu Lake - Mianning
Visit Wuxu Lake, often called the “First Sacred Lake of Kham.” Surrounded by forests and mountains, this peaceful alpine lake is one of the hidden gems of western Sichuan. Continue driving to Mianning, where you will visit Lingshan Temple, an important Buddhist site. Overnight in Mianning.
Day 8: Xichang - Chengdu
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Xichang. During blooming season, admire the beautiful jacaranda trees that color the city purple. After breakfast, begin the return journey to Chengdu, concluding your unforgettable Three-Prefecture Loop adventure.
